Wesley
On the morning of August 7, 2007, 12-year-old Wesley was wide-awake with all the energy he needed for his shopping spree. He opened his front door to the site of a stretch limousine waiting outside his Allegheny County home. With his favorite music by The Beatles playing inside the limo, he was ready to head to his first stop, TOYS ‘R’ US, to stock up on all that he could before moving on the next location.
At this ultimate toy store, Wesley was greeted by a team of TOYS ‘R’ US employees who made him feel on top of the world. They pointed him in the direction towards Nintendo Wii, a gaming system that he had dreamed of owning. Now that it was in his cart, he stocked up on as many games as he could, including Spiderman3, Transformers, and Mario Kart. Once he had all he needed for his new system, it was time to head to Game Stop to load up on even more.
Wesley was now the proud owner of over 20 Nintendo Wii games, enough to keep him and his twin brother playing for days. Playing basketball and baseball would definitely be put on hold while they tried to beat their new games. All of this shopping, however, made Wesley very hungry, which made Pizza Hut the next and last stop on his journey.
The celebration continued at his favorite restaurant, with all the pizza and fruit punch that Wesley could enjoy. Wesley and his family finished the meal with a big cake and smiles on their faces because of the wonderful day that they had just had. They climbed into the limousine and headed home to enjoy all of the new things that Wesley had purchased on this unforgettable day of unlimited shopping.
