Aditya had always loved Thomas the Tank Engine. He had watched the television series everyday and even had Thomas the Tank Engine bed sheets. When the Make-A-Wish team asked him what he wanted for his wish, he couldn’t think of anything that would be better than Thomas the Tank Engine toys!
the Make-A-Wish volunteers surprised Aditya when they showed up. They had brought with them cake, ice-cream, pizza, chips and soda. Aditya was going to have a Thomas the Tank Engine party! There was Thomas the Tank Engine cups, plates, paper towels and a special conductor’s hat for Aditya. The surprises weren’t over just yet. The volunteers brought out three huge bags filled with all kinds of toys for Aditya. There was Thomas the Tank Engine toys, stickers, coloring books, DVDS, pajamas and so much more. Aditya had enough to keep him busy for a very long time! Aditya put on his Thomas the Tank Engine pajamas right away and began playing with his toys. There was so much to play with; he hardly knew where to start! Aditya played with his new toys all night. His parents even had trouble getting him to go to sleep. Aditya went to bed knowing that tomorrow was a new day, and another chance to play with all of his great gifts.
Aditya was so thankful for his party and presents. This special surprise was just what he needed to lift his spirits. Aidtya will never forget the day his wish came true.
